Christmas Day

Christmas Day:

one LONG day, one SICK child, not so much FUN.

We survive Christmas Day BARELY.  Just kidding, it was long, and tiring, and Ruby was not feeling well at all, but it was good.  We started the day BRIGHT and early at 6AM, because Ruby was coughing, couldn't breath and couldn't sleep.  Poor girl.

 We had a lot of these moments throughout the day.  I felt so bad she was sick on Christmas, hate it.

 After we opened most of the presents Ruby was back asleep by 8:15.  (I say most because she had one present left that got opened a few days after Christmas; too many and one tired girl).

Once Ruby woke up we headed to Gma Donna's for breakfast (no pics sorry).  Then off to Gma and Gpa's house.  (I tried to get her dressed many times through out the day, but she would have a melt down and I knew she didn't feel good so I let her stay in her jammies all day).

 After we open presents what does Ruby want to do?  Go play with the old toys.  haha.  This toy stays in Gma and Gpa's bedroom, for some reason Ruby doesn't want it to leave this room.  She doesn't want to play with it anywhere else and gets mad if we try to bring it out in the front room.  Silly Girl.  Good thing Gma loves you so much

NEXT: off to Nana and Papa's house

First we Skyped with Aunt Crystal on her mission.  It is so good to actually see them, rather than just talking on the phone.

 By afternoon Ruby has had no nap, had totally gotten the hang off ripping presents open, and wants to do them all.  Lots of tears and really really tired. Poor girl.  Later she got a 1/2 hour nap, nice huh!

We were spoiled this Christmas season.  Even though Ruby was sick, it was still a good day.  Thanks to everyone for an incredible Christmas.
