Fun, Fun

We took the boat out last weekend with Brandon's sisters and brother.  Lets say it didn't start out so well, but it ended well!  First we forgot to put the plugs in,  luckily we hadn't unloaded the boat before we realized it, but it took some time for the boat to drain.  (part of the reason we were taking it out was to see if Brandon's repair had sealed, because about 2 weeks ago, Brandon and some friends went fishing and just about sunk the boat.  Come to find out, the motor had put 2 big cracks in the back of the boat).  Needless to say that defeated the purpose of seeing if there was a leak!  Ha ha

Just as we get out on the lake and get his sisters in the water along with the tube, the boat dies.  Well normally no big deal, you just start it again.  Nope, not this time, Brandon tries to start the boat and the key breaks off in the ignition!!!  That's just GREAT!!!  We just got to the middle of the lake, there is no way I'm paddling back that far!!! Luckily I have an awesome handy husband who figured out a way to get it to work after a few minutes and then we were off! (note to self, put some tools in the boat).  Now we just don't want to have the motor die again.

After all that, we had a really good time.  We pulled the tube around, did some knee boarding, and Brandon even water skied.  They all have the bruises to show for it.  Here are some pics
